Santa Claude Parade

Jim thanked everyone who worked on the Santa Clause Parade float. Also, Wendell thanked his crew for hotdog and hamburger sales which made $1,467. It was a wonderful time all around.

 He also directed  members to two videos.

Go to www.vimeo.com and in the Search box (top right of the website) insert "rotary santa 2012". The search should load two videos. The first, titled Santa Float 2012, is a video showing the float warming up the night before the Parade. This gives the best view of Mickey and Minnie in their boat which got offtrack and ended up at the North Pole! It was probably due to the navigation by Goofy in the crow's nest! (But the doesn't explain how  penguins ended up at the North Pole?)  The second video (Santa Parade 2012) was filmed at the Parade Saturday night. My son Jonathan, who built the setup to allow the boat to rock, is driving the truck and Joe Beylerian, who designed and built the float, is waving from the passenger side. Many thanks to Dittie and Gayle who helped Joe with the inspiration and design and all who helped throughout.
