Rose a success

Rose Theatre Manager Steve Solski spoke to the club about the upcoming theatre season, the biggest ever mounted by the theatre. Last year there were 537 events, 140,000 patrons and 118 groups that utilized the theatre. This year there are 30 additional performances.
Steve says The Rose, now in its third season, has been an unqualified success, exceeding everyone's expectations.
Over the summer the space outside the theatre includes a new fountain feature that converts to a stage. Jazz concerts are planned during the week and Shakespeare in the Square runs on the weekends.
He told the club there are fundraising opportunities through group discounts and sponsorship oportunities as well.
