Return to Recife

One of our Exchange students has returned home. On Saturday Fernanda left Toronto International Airport on her return to her home in Recife, Brazil.

Fernanda made a lot of friends in our Club and in the community. Many of her friends are away on the month long Cross Canada Tour but there were still over 20 people at the airport to see her off. Fernanda's last months were marked by intense activities including a five day trip to Vancouver and Victoria, a going away party attended by 50 friends and host family members, and serving hamburgers at Thunder Run. She was also a super star for Relay for Life raising over $1400. Fernanda was a great addition to our Club and a great ambassador for her country. She will be missed. The picture shows her helping to cook her last Canadian supper with two of her Canadian sisters.
