Welcome to Ted Brown from Regeneration Outreach Community
Ted Brown is very active in the community. He came to Brampton 32 years ago and spent most of his career in the Kennedy Road Tabernacle as an outreach pastor.
Ted reports that over $380,000 came in by the end of last year to support families who were in the fire, amazing!
Regeneration is located in Brampton, serving breakfast 365 days per year. They care for the homeless and those at risk of being homeless. Regen believes breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Over 36,000 breakfasts were served in 2014. Breakfast at Regen is more than just a meal. Their guests are able to build a sense of community and access a number of social services such as clothing, nursing care, clinical foot care, and personal hygiene kits. Breakfast is in fact the most important meal of the day.

- Over 17,000 breakfasts have been served so far this year, 6% higher than previous year

Regeneration is building great relationships with Peel Regional Police. Department Chiefs and Inspectors pass through the area on a regular basis and because of this, the crime has decreased.
Regen has wonderful relationships with four local schools and last year over 1,000 students did some serving. The Grade 10 to 12 Students learn how to treat people with respect and they interact with the guests. At Regen it’s all about building a community and that starts with relationships with their guests.
Regen is looking for 5,000 sq. ft. space for a dental clinic for three days. They want to save about 400 individuals, they have the dentists, and now they just need the space. They are thankful for the staff they have and their dreams going into the future is about affordable housing.
