The Rotary Club of Brampton is proud to again partner with Movember for our 2015 MOVEMBERcampaign! Last year, through our team, club and the generosity of our sponsors, we helped raise
over $8,000 for MOVEMBER for the awareness of Men’s Health.
Why does the Rotary Club support such a great cause? Simple. The state of men’s health is in a crisis.
Simply put, men are dying far too young.
In order to tackle the problem and work towards a world where future generations of men are not faced with the same issues as today, we need to take action at both an individual and community level. This means engaging men and women, businesses, sporting groups, community organizations, governments, health policy makers and health care providers in the efforts to reduce the current gender inequality in health outcomes.
And this year there is something new! This year MOVEMBER introduces MOVE. MOVE is a new
challenge for those that want to set a goal in their daily routines by incorporating at least 30 minutes
of activity. So whether you grow a mustache, sponsor a MOVEMBER member or a team ... at the very
least help us get active!
