Club Treasurer, Vijay Joshi, made an impressive presentation of this club’s work  in India (100 miles from Delhi).  Formed in 1991, they have 3 Interact Clubs, a Rotaract Club and the Club is 100% Paul Harris Supporters.

 

They hold a number of programs for Blind Girls – including a Health Check Up Camp, RYLA for Blind Girls, as well as Career Counselling. Their projects include News In Education program for 300 students,

Water distribution at the Gorpati Festival (20,000 litres of fresh water for the 1 million attendees), Vocational Awards,  and Computers to assist in e-learning for 150 students. 

 

Mr. Joshi presented Rotary tokens and flags to our President Steve Robinson and Secretary David Clement.
