You are invited to view a presentation of a multi-million dollar fundraising event for POLIO PLUS hosted by the Rotary Club of Brampton South.

This presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at Rotary Glen from 7 PM to 9 PM. Refreshments will be available.

This event has been developed and planned with much care by Rotarians over the past 2 1/2 years.

The Objective

Create an event where 50 years of Musical Heritage will be presented to today's audience. Present those Canadian entertainers who have achieved a level of excellence and have made an impact on the World Music Scene, showcasing the richness of our Canadian Musical Heritage.

The Concept

The concept is a one-time historical event - a 4-day outdoor concert of Canadian music featuring the top Canadian artists from the past 50 years who created our Canadian musical heritage. The event is to be a celebration of Canadian music of yesterday and today. It may be the last opportunity to catch some of Canada's best-loved earlier artists. While originally conceived as a one-time event, if successful it may be presented again in 2006 in a different location.

Much of the work has already been done, so a project like this can be a significant benefit to Rotary International and the District in its quest to eradicate polio.
