Once again, the Rotary Club of Caborca, Mexico has extended an invitation for up to 15 members of District 7080 to participate in their Polio National Immunization Day (NID). This is a great opportunity to work hands-on in support of the work of Rotary in this global endeavor. Please note that there is no recent outbreak of Polio in Mexico, this NID is being done as part of the ongoing work to ensure Polio does not make a resurgence and will continue annually until the world is declared Polio free.
This event is being held from February 13 to 17, 2020 and is being conducted in conjunction with Rotary International, the Mexican Government and the Rotary Club of Caborca.
The entire trip lasts 5 days and the estimated cost of the trip is approximately $1,300 per person. Non Rotarians, travelling with Rotarians are welcome. Space is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come-first-served basis.
