$9,000 raised
The Pink Hair Dare Campaign, held in October each year, had a Volunteer Appreciation event on Sunday November 9.  The Rotary Club of Brampton presented a cheque for $9000, raised through the Diva Night Event– another wonderful success.  This contribution represents to largest contribution from any group.  Thanks to Gayle Wilding and Carole Berry for their leadership and hard work.  Thanks also to Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Services event coordinator, Martha Strong, for all her dedication  The campaign will raise about $50,000 this year, guaranteeing that services such as nutrition counselling, yoga and relaxation and group sessions continue to be available in Brampton.  Also in attendance was Dittie Voegele who presented a cheque for proceeds from the 50 Shades of Pink event held at Clinton’s on Main.
