Past President's night

John Lomax facilitated a lively discussion at the annual past president's night last week. The annual dinner and discussion is an opportunity to review our past year's accomplishments and look ahead at the year to come.
Generally, the group was complimentrary about the year past, recognizing that many of the objectives set out by President Wendell had been achieved.
Overall, looking ahead, the group suggested there was still room for improved communication, new membership growth and increased member involvement in club activities. There was also a discussion about improving the quality of our weekly speakers and asking club members to come forward with suggestions.
All agreed our primary objective in 2004-2005 was to implement the recommendations set out in the strategic marketing plan that was ratified in May.
