On Monday, November 28th, a member of Peels' finest will explain the how and why of Breathalyzers as a tool to combat impaired driving.

At the 8th Annual Constable Matt Parr Impaired Driver ApprehensionAwards earlier this month, Peel Regional Police Chief Catney, who presented the awards, stated,

"The identification and apprehension of impaired drivers, is a significant policing priority of my administration. The dedication of front-line personnel to the year round R.I.D.E. program is an accomplishment we are extremely proud of. The program has been consistently supported and endorsed by our citizens. The officers honoured by this award have demonstrated their commitment to our organizational statement of a safer community by removing persons from our roadways deemed to be intoxicated by alcohol or drugs."
