Orlando's message of hope

Our last-minute speaker(s) turned out to be very engaging. They were Rotarian Orlando Bowen of the Flower City Club with supporters Data and Clifford Ivory.

Orlando, ex CFL Argo and Ticat gave us a personal bio. He was born in Jamaica and resided in Brampton. Despite some considerable challenges he became both a university graduate and a successful CFL football player.

He spoke passionately about his programme to help youth at risk in the

It costs $390 to sponsor a child in grade 4 - 8 and we were told several inspiring real stories of lives transformed. Everybody has a story and we need to help young people's stories be heard.
