Mansoor Ahmed Mirza
The Membership Committee and the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Brampton have approved Mansoor Ahmed Mirza for active membership in the Rotary Club of Brampton.
Mansoor, proposed by Badar Shamim, is a member of the Board of Trade, serves the local community by adopting a Park in Brampton, tutors free Math classes, takes an active part in all kinds of community service including helping at the food bank, donating to charities and assisting newcomers to Canada to settle. Obie Agusiebe
The Membership Committee and The Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Brampton have approved proposed member Obie Agusiebe.
Obie Agusiebe, an Environmental Consultant, is interested in becoming a member of our Club. She is proposed by Vice President Uche Okugo. Obie is a former Rotarian and former Club Secretary of the Rotary Club of Mississauga-Airport from 2011 to 2014 before she left due to family commitments. She has been a speaker at our Club and attended about three meetings. She was the resource person when our Central Peel Secondary School Interactors participated in the EnvironFocus Knowledge and Culture Exchange Program (EKCEP) last Rotary year. Additionally, she was introduced to Uche by PDG Leslie Barmania. Please see the attached proposal.
