Take notice the following applications for membership to the Rotary Club of Brampton have been received and approved by your Board of Directors, subject to the required notice to members, police clearance and Rotary Information.

2. Barry Thorvardson - Proposed by Rotarian Ed Boonstra

Barry owns a local Business Internet Provider 'Cypersolutions' and specializes in internet advertising. He also owns a specialized promotion company 'Live Chess Network Corporation' which promotes chess and internet advertising and promotion for chess events world-wide.

He has lived in Brampton for the past 22 years and attended the Brampton Second Christian Reformed Church. Served as a member and Executive of the Brampton Chess Club. President of the Ontario Chess Association Inc. Served at all levels within Brampton Scout organization. Member of the Brampton Curling Club.

Prior to Brampton he lived in Kingston, ON where he was an active Rotarian with the Kingston-Frontenac Club for several years. While there he created the 'Rotary Kingston Bathtub Race' and he participated in their Rotary Bingo activities.

3. Anthony (Tony) Gale - Proposed by Rotarian Peter Ward
