Miss Schrik goes to Washington

Sheryl was previously a participant in Forum for Young Canadians and ranked both experiences important to her future. She plans to study recreational leisure this fall at Waterloo University.

In Washington, she worked with other young people from all over the world to develop a communique on peace keeping. The exercise "helped us better understand what's going on in the world."

While the experience of meeting people from around the world was invaluable, Sheryl concluded that "we are all very much alike."

Sheryl says her goal in life "is to make a difference."
