Take notice that our Luncheon for Monday, February 14th, 2005 will start at 11:30 a.m. with Lunch being served at that time. And our meeting will end at 12:30 p.m.

The reason it has been changed from our regular time is because the RotaryClub(s) of Brampton are on the City Council agenda for recognition of our 100th Centennial celebrations. We will be presented with a Proclamation from Mayor Fennell at 1:10 p.m. approximately.

This is an important opportunity for all Rotarians in Brampton to be in attendance to be recognized collectively. The other Clubs have been invited to attend. I anticipate the Chambers to be full of Rotarians so please get there no later than 12:50 p.m. The Chambers are located on the 4th Floor of City Hall. Parking is free for the first hour.

It is important that all members of our Club attend the event to be collectively recognized by City Council.

I anticipate a maximum half hour window - Council starts at 1:00 p.m. - recognition at 1:10 p.m. approximately - brief remarks - acceptance of the proclamation - photo op's in the Chambers and/or Lounge area and back to work (or coffee shop) you go~!

Rogers Cable will be broadcasting the Council meeting.

Please call me at (905) 874 2172 if you need any clarification. Len Mikulich, Club Secretary.
