Looking for a student

Our Rotary Club Brampton has secured one space for a senior high school student to attend the 4 day program Rotary Adventure in Citizenship from May 3-6, 2009. The student will travel to Ottawa on May 2 and be billeted by a Rotary family in Ottawa for the duration of the program. Our Rotary club has paid the registration fee, and will cover travel to Ottawa.
I ask you to pass along information on this opportunity to studentst/teachers who would like and benefit from the opportunity to learn more about parliament and how our government works.
The selection criteria are:
- excellent academic standing
- community service (emphasis on non-school related volunteering)
- personal interview (we will set up a small group to interview potential students)
- Canadian citizen or landed immigrant between 16-19 by May 2/09.

I have a package of information - so let me know how to proceed. (We only can send one student but also have 2 opportunities for RYLA May 3-6 which may also be of interested to any students not selected for the Citizenship program).
