Interact club gets its charter Monday

Be sure to attend Monday's special evening meeting when Brampton's first Interact club get its charter.
The new interact club, operating out of St. Augustine, and sponsored by our Rotary club, has been operating for almost a year.
The club, which now has 21 members, has been active this year raising money for "Breakfast for Kids"
It's new community fundraising project is the Salvation Army Family Crisis Center. And internationally, they are raising money to build schools in Nicaragua.
Monday's meeting is not just a charter night. The interact club has more than one hundred paintings it plans to sell through a silent auction. The artwork can be viewed at Rotary Glen from 3 p.m. onward.
Following dinner, at 6:30 p.m., and the regular Rotary meeting where the club will receive its charter, there will be a presentation by Interact members on their club's activities and fundraising efforts.
There will still be time to bid on these special items following the meeting and the auction should start about 9:30 p.m.
Bring your spouse. It promises to be a fun night.
