Charles Frosst started Frosst in Montreal in 1899. In 1910, the 222 aspirin was invented. Fast Forward to 1965 when Merck bought Frosst to become Merck Frosst.

In Canada, it takes 15 years for a new drug to make it to market. It takes between 50,000 - 80,000 compounds to find one molecule that will make it to market at a cost of about $1 billion dollars.
The FDA from the states is creating offices in other countries, India, China and others.
