INDIGEOUS PEOPLES INFORMATION EVENING

Ms. Kandice Baptiste and a group of representtions from local indigenous communities will share the story of their history and culture starting from prior to European settlement.

Kanice is Mohawk, and is on the faculty of Wilfred Laurier University.  This is sponsored by DART – District 7080’s  group that focuses on developing awareness and understanding of Indigenouse Peoples and Communities within our membership and fostering meaningful relationship between these communities and Rotary.
