Bob Simpson asked the club to support HopeLink International's corporate golf classic to help native youth risk in Canada's North.

The funds raised through HopeLink's activities will go to develop sustainable programming among native children in the north.

"Nishnawbe Dawn" is a year round program - a community circle of support - that addresses five indentified needs - Health, Life Skills, Recreation, Creative Arts and Literacy.

"Building on the success of Healthy Beginnings and Base Camp on the Rëz programs, Nishnawbe Dawn is the next logical step, in developing a strong model that will be the source of inspiration for other native communities."
