Grants and awards reported

The grants and awards committee announced it has allocated nearly $70,000 of its $100,000 budget. Major allocations include Junior Achievement $20,000, Salvation Army $5,000, Telecare Distress Centre $5,000 and Kidney Foundation $5,000.
