Good people doing good things

Area/Assistant Governor Syd Harmon brought these words to the club on Monday.
"When people ask me what is Rotary, I tell them good people doing good things for the community."

Syd also reported that the new Caledon West club is well on its way with a turnout of 18 people at the last meeting.
Charter night is tentatively set for April 3, which currently conflicts with our Annual Dinner Dance and Auction. Syd said he would check to see if the date in Caledon can be changed.
The Foundation
Syd also talked about the need to develop more sustaining members for the Rotary Foundation.
"For a $100 US a year per member, we can make a significant investment in the future of Rotary and our work around the world."
