On November 28th, 1912, the founding members of The Rotary Club of Toronto met at the King Edward Hotel for our inaugural luncheon.
Since 1912, Rotary has been an important part of the social fabric in our City, significantly influencing improvement in the urban community while providing all those we serve with hope and dignity.
We are pleased to invite you to help us mark this occasion by attending our Founders’ Day luncheon celebration at the King Edward Hotel (37 King Street East) on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 from 12 noon - 2:00 pm.
Pre-luncheon cocktails (cash bar) will be available from 11.30 a.m.
This is a celebration not just for The Rotary Club of Toronto, but also for all Rotarians in the Province of Ontario. As the first club in this province, our founding members understood the goals of Rotary, and had a vision for the good that could be done in the application of our simple philosophy, always with the guidance of our 4-Way Test.
