Forum for Young Canadians

Edil Ga'al attended the Forum for Young Canadians in Ottawa.  Edil is a grade 11 student at Chinguacousy Secondary School.  The Forum is a week long program allowing students to interact with our government officials through social events and cabinet simulations.  During the week, Edil learned about the government's role and how it functions, was exposed to the major political parties and their platforms, and MP's and senators hosted events.  Export Development Canada hosted an International Trade Simulation which stressed the importance of building relationships with other countries and problem solving.
