Fines and Happy Bucks

Sgt at Arms; Warren R. indicated that there had been an overwhelming response for his
request for volunteers to join the SAAC….one person had volunteered!
Warren announced that there would not be any fines today, just happy bucks but he was curious about Jerome’s camaraderie with the kitchen staff.
Rita was happy that she was participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure and she was looking for sponsors.
Dittie thanked the club for its generosity in supporting he fund raising for leprosy
Badar was happy that the club was supporting a fund raising event for the flood victims in Pakistan
Peter was happy not to be fined for wearing elegant shorts
Glenn was happy to be able to ask the club to support Linda in her charity walk and that his parents had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
Joe was happy to report that his wife’s tumours have disappeared
Dennis was happy that his latest PSA reading was low and so was his testosterone (watch out you guys)
John S was happy that he attended the AGM of the Peel Elder Health as they raved about Rotary and the Bingo. He also announced that the City was organizing a pancake breakfast on Sept 11 to raise funds for the Red Cross in Pakistan
Mark R was happy that his guest was the RBC branch manager from Four Corners and he was interested in becoming a member of the club.
Adrian had an unhappy buck as the number of diners at the senators table had shrunk to one.
