Rotarian Michael Arthurs finally had a crack at Sergeant at Arms and made it pretty tough on us by fining every table that didn't have someone with a better tan than his.
We then went into Happy Bucks. John Sanderson was happy that proposed member Liane Fernandes came out for some fun at the Easter Seal Summer Picnic. Ed Boonstra was happy for good weather, lots of help and a good time at the picnic. Gene was happy his grandkids are off to university. Rob van Kessell was happy his son is off to university with substantial scholarships. Dale Flannigan is happy that his sponsored exchange student has made it home safely. Dittie was happy she has the tickets for the Octoberfest party. Buy them early before they sell out. Steve Robinson was happy about some great fishing in B.C. He had a great fishing tale about the huge fish that got away ⿦. because a seal latched onto it and after much fighting took Steve's prize fish.
