Fernanda Moves On.

Saturday was a sad/happy day for Fernanda. Sad because it was her last day in the home of Norm and Elizabeth Bindon before she moved in with her next host family on Sunday. But happy she is with her new host mother and father, Rita and Ian Gayle.

Saturday night the family, along with granddaughters Kendal and Nicole, dined on Fernanda's favourite quick meal items. Pictured are the three girls preparing Chinese dumplings to go with squid, cactus pears and chicken wings. Fernanda has been with Norm and Elizabeth and their three dogs for four months. Now she is looking forward to walking to school after driving from Mississauga each morning since November. She will be with the Gayles for April and May and will then move back with the Bindons for 6 weeks until she returns to Brazil in July.
