Election still underway
Take notice that the election for three Directors to your Rotary Board - Term July 1st, 2006 to June 30th, 2008, is still underway. Final voting is today.
The names of those Rotarians who have qualified and appear on the ballot are:
Gerry Atkinson John Digby Alan Heaney Ken Spreen and Rob van Kessel
Four of the five spoke at last week's meeting outlining their respective roles within the club.
Gerry Atkinson has been a member for three years and involved mostly with Children's Charities. She looks forward to an opportunity to work with the board. John Digby has returned to the club and is also interested in serving at a higher level. Al Heaney, a past president, says we have the best club in the district and that he hopes to continue to serve on the board. Ken Spreen has served only six months on the board but would like to be able to contribute over the next two years. And Rob van Kessel has served on the board for the past seven years and would like the opportunity to continue to serve and lead.
Elections will close on Monday December 12.
