A Literacy Event Supporting North Peel Vocational Secondary School

Darren Reed, Department Head of Literacy at North Peel Secondary School has contacted me to canvass Rotarians from the 5 Rotary Clubs of Brampton to again participate as a "SCRIBE". This is a literacy opportunity for Rotarians to
partner with the North Peel staff to assist Grade 10 students with the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test on March 27, 2008.
The target is have 15 Rotarians sign up (or an average of 3 per club) by Monday March 24, 2008.
A superb lunch will be served by the Culinary and Hospitality staff and students.
This is an excellent for the clubs to participate in a community literacy initiative as well as really make an important difference in a child's quest for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
