Dr. Gurjit Singh Bajwa, born and raised in Etobicoke, completed his under-graduate degree at Ottawa University and his medical studies at the University of Toronto. He has been an Emergency Physician for 21 years and is currently at Etobicoke General Hospital. Dr Bajwa is committed to sharing accurate information about medical services in Canada and engages the community by using Punjabi whenever required.
Dr. Bajwa is committed equally to his faith as he is committed to emergency medicine and applauds the work of his hospital to be inclusive and diverse. An experienced Emergency Medicine clinician, currently working in the Emergency Department of the William Osler Health System, for the past 21 years. I am dedicated to delivering excellence in clinical practice, by continual Medical Education and teaching medical residents.
I enjoy the challenge of working in a busy ED environment and managing a diverse workload. I collegially interact with my specialist colleagues and continually learn from them to broaden my knowledge. I am fundamentally committed to good practice and innovation and very much a team player. I am extremely engaged in the community with regular charity work, fundraising and serving the community.
