District Governor for 2009-2010.

As the designated District Governor for 2008- 2009 I am very pleased to announce that the District Governor Nominating Committee under the Chairmanship of PDG John Stairs has selected our own Assistant Governor Robert Palmateer to succeed me as District Governor for 2009-2010.

Bob is a member of the Rotary Club of Bolton. He will complete a one year term as AG for the Brampton Clubs on July 1st and then commence a 2 year term as AG for the Dufferin and City of Caledon Clubs.

Among his many Rotary duties Bob is a Past Chair of the District Youth Exchange Committee and as such has worked closely with John Lomax and me. John joins me in congratulating Bob. He is an excellent choice.
