District Conference Report Next Week

The Rotary Club of Brampton was ably represented at the District Conference by President Ed and Ruth, President-Elect Sheila and Kirk, John Lomax and Marilyn, Norm Bindon and our Exchange Students Piroshin and Marie.  John's daughter Gillian once again assisted. John's son Jay, with Red Spirit, gave many attendess to the New Generations Forum their first introduction to Canadian Aboriginal culture.  Piroshin was a featured speaker at the Conference closing session. David Simmonds, a former RC of Brampton Exchange Student, RYLA Nominee and Interact President, was also a strong addition to our delegation.

President Elect Sheila has agreed to an interview as to the impact of the Conference on her upcoming year as President.  That interview will appear in a future issue of The Spinner.
