Costin at The Rose

Dittie introduced the speaker, Costin Manu, Manager of Programming at
the Rose Theatre. Costin is an actor, director and producer and before
theatre life was an engineer for Nortel. Costin spoke about the Rose
Theatre being the best venue in the country.
Given the job of the Manager of Programming, he has to make informed decisions of what people would like. The Rose Theatre is a rental venue and he is only responsible for "Rose Theatre Presents" series. There is a difference with Rose Theatre presents and a rental coming in. The Rose Theatre is special and so is Brampton, we should all fee pride. There is an amazing opportunity to improve your business and make your business known. Feel good season 2009/2010 - We need to feel good, be positive and optimistic. Costin gave a rundown of all the upcoming musicals, comedies, family shows, dances, solo artists, musical groups, tributes, superstars etc that are in the Feel Good Season 2009/2010.
For next year's program, he will be looking at a special series for younger people, more family shows and will be doing speaking tours in Brampton to find out what people like.
