Club explores Visioning
Posted by Stephen Rhodes
At Club Assembly last week, President Ken, President-elect Bob and Vice President Warren led the club through an exercise that solicited input on the results of a Visioning session held in November.
In November about 25 members of the club participated in a Visioning Session put on by District 7080. The half-day exercise allowed members to explore 10 areas including "what the club stands for, club attributes, our contribution to the four avenues of service, Rotary Foundation, club size and fundraising.
For the most part club members supported the outcome of visioning but some questions remain around the focus of the club and some suggestions were made about refining the language.
President Ken said the executive would include Monday's comments as they start to develop goals and objectives. Future club assemblies will refine these and work to develop action plans.
