Club member Rev. Blessing Ajayi gave her classification talk. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Director of a charity organization Glorious Women of Wonders (GWOW), an ordained Minister of God, an Evangelic Pastor and an international missionary as well as a former Rotarian in Nigeria. She is a mother of four and married to Mr. Abayomi Ajayi for 23 years. Her oldest son and daughter attend university while her two younger sons are in high school.Rev. Blessing is a counselor, mentor, missionary and evangelist who has travelled around the globe conducting revival meetings. She is a Brampton resident who has participated in numerous and various community activities and a recipient of many awards and recognitions one of the most recent being a 2019 Canada’s 100 Black Women to Watch Award.
Recently Rev. Blessing has also received a 2019 City of Brampton Citizen Award for 10 years of Longtime Community Service. Her many acts of goodwill for humanitarian purpose have changed many lives. She reminded all that GWOW continues to invite local and international partnerships and of her commitment to serve and support vulnerable populations on a national and international level as she has done for more than a decade.
