Ephraim Sampson

Ephraim started out his talk by quoting from Acts 20-35 "It is more blessed to give than to receive". He is a former Manager and President of Canadian Christian Association. He was born in Lahore, Pakistan. He moved to Canada in 1996, met his wife in 2010 and in 2014 welcomed a baby girl. Soon after a son came and in 2018 he welcomed another daughter. He likes to spend time with family, enjoys fishing and playing cricket.
Ephraim lived by the Beaches when he came to Canada. He went to Seneca College and then York University.  He completed his CMA in 2010
Ephraim worked for Miller Group for four years and has been at Aecon for 11 years as a Finance Manager. Aecon is the largest construction company in Canada. It's a great place to work and he considers it a blessing.
In his volunteer capacity, Ephraim was the treasurer for Forward Baptist Church in 2004. He was also an Ambassador for Ronald McDonald providing meals for kids; this was sponsored by Aecon.  He is a member of Osler Foundation and Chair Rep. of Brampton West Elimentary Catholic School.
Ephaim was inducted in Rotary in  November 2018. Rotary is inclusive, everyone come together to make the world a better place and he is excited to be a part of it. During his latest trip to Pakistan he toured one of the biggest and oldest hospitals and seeing people sleep outside when they are sick, not enough incubators (three babies for one incubator) made him realize how privileged we are here in Canada and consideres himself blessed to be here. Every time he gets to give back to the community, he does.
