Deboraha Robinson

Deboraha is a retired Travel Consultant. She is no stranger to Rotary. Deboraha joined the Brampton South Rotary Club in 2007 and was a past Treasurer for three years, Secretary for three years and President for one year.

Deboraha leads a simple life. She was born in Peel Memorial Hospital and grew up in downtown Brampton. She has two brothers and two sisters (one brother has passed). In 1974, after been moved to Bellwood (near Fergus), she didn’t fit in well with the country girls so she moved back to the city where she met her husband of 40 years. They have two beautiful children and a granddaughter who is a very diverse little girl; she is very smart, she dances and plays lacrosse.

Deboraha worked for Peel Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department. She moved on and went to Sheridan College where she studied Real Estate. In 1989 the Real Estate Market crashed and she was therefore out of work. In 1991 Deborahara became a Travel Consultant with Regent Holidays. She has traveled all over the world and still hope to do some more traveling.

In 2001 Deboraha had some health issues with her vision. She lost sight in one of her eyes but with technology today she has more sight in the good eye than ever before.

Deboraha is excited to be a part of the Rotary Club of Brampton and look forward to working with everyone.
