Our annual Christmas party was a huge success for members, their spouse and children alike.

Bino put on a traditional Christmas dinner with turkey, ham and all the trimmings.

And Santa was a huge success with the children.

President Jerome used the occasion to distribute some cheques to deserving community organizations.

He presented $115,000 to the YMCA, the fourth installment in our club's $500,000 commitment to the Rotary Aquatic Pool. Pictured here are President Jerome, Rotarian and YMCA General Manager Janet Johnson, Tom Horlor, Vice-President of the YMCA of Greater Toronto and Secretary Len.

A $30,000 cheque as presented to St. Leonard's House. Representing that group were Rotarians Rick Brown and John Lomax as well as Clive Snow.

A $2,000 cheque was also presented to the Salvation Army for the food bank and the "toss a toonie" campaign. On hand from the Salvation Army was Rotarian Calvin Hillyard, Morris Samson and Gary Haun.

And finally a $1,000 cheques was presented to Mike Paquet from the Peel Literacy Guild.

All recipients praised the club for its generosity.
