President Glenn and his team

 Out-going President John Sanderson opened the meeting and welcomed our guests from Nirobi, Nigeria, and Nepal and banners were exchanged.

President John invited everyone to come out July 20th to the Lions Steak Barbecue. The Lions and the RC of Brampton have had a long history of collaboration.

Jayne Pilot spoke about her involvement with ESRAG- The Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group.  On Monday July 23rd the RC of Brampton is going on a environmental field trip to Emerald Energy From Waste for its  July 23rd meeting.  Spaces are limited as we must travel by bus. Speak to Jayne Pilot if interested.  The bus will depart from Bramalea Church of God, 600 Balmoral Drive at 11:30 AM. Bino will provide a bag lunch.

Upcoming events include the RC of Brampton Golf Tournament scheduled for Aug. 16th at the Caledon Golf Club in Inglewood. Cut off date to register is Aug. 13th. The cost is 40$ for members and 80$ for guests.  Register with Malcolm Slater or Gord Raine.

President John  turned the meeting over to President Glen who  presented pins to the incoming executive and new Board members and thanked outgoing Board members for their service.

President Glen presented his vision for the upcoming year.  He hopes to set goals and track those goals. He wants to help club members to learn about the tools available to Rotarians on Club Runner. He also intends to get the Organizational Structure filled out accurately.
