On Oct 25, we formally handed over the Certificate of Organization to the President and members of our first community-based Interact Club in District 7080 - CENTRAL PEEL PROJECT E COMMUNITY INTERACT CLUB. The Interact team was led by Diane Oyedeji (President). Poonam Kaur (Vice President), Chiquita Yerrmnchetty (Head of Finance), and Simardeep Dhanota (Head of communications) were also in attendance. This Interact club is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Brampton and Mississauga.
Thanks to Saskia Wijngaard of the Rotary Club of Mississauga for organizing the meeting, President Dittie Voegele for hosting and Luisa Santos-Mocon for providing warmth, apple ciders and cookies. President-elect Amolak Dhindsa and Nagwa Abou El-Naga of RC Mississauga were also in attendance.
