Our guest Mitchell McKracken opened up the meeting by piping in the Haggis. Mitchell's grandfather was a member of the RC of Brampton a number of years ago.

Kilt Clad Bob McIntrye informed us about the life of Scotland's celebrated poet Robbie Burns, on this the 251st anniversary of his birth. One of the most recognized poems is Auld Lang Syne, sung the world round on New Year's Eve.
John McMullen recited My Love is a Red Red Rose, Peter Ward, My Bonnie Belle , Raj, The Scotch Drink
President Ken gave the Ode to Jean Armour .
Jerome Dawson gave the toast to the Lassies in the room and Carole Berry responded for the Lassies.
Bob thanked all those who assisted in the festivities of the day and to Bino Dali for the special Scottish meal of Scotch Pies and Cock-a-Leeke soup
The meeting was closed with an on key rendition of Auld Lang Syne led by Gene McNamarra.
