Terry Varga presented a Fundraising update on the proposed digital strategy for fund raising using gaming
The Capture the Ace update – Catch the Ace is a gaming system that would be used to raise money for Rotary. The wire frame was shown to the club and a brief description of how the process would work. Weekly prize 20% of ticket sales. See Terry for the presentation.
The process is in the discovery phase. The project has not yet been launched at. However, Terry has identified the elements required to launch the first phase of the project. This process is already in place with some Rotary clubs (Terry mentioned a Rotary club in NS). President Dittie suggested that we table for November 2nd meeting at this point Terry would have more details. Terry has asked for 3 skillset – Gaming, procurement, financial analysis for modeling.
