Budget, Conference and Visioning

The budget was presented by President Jim. Copies of the budget were available on the tables. The budget for club and service accounts was approved with very little debate or discussion.

District Conference

Bob Cranch  presented information about the upcoming Rotary District Conference in Brampton this year in Honor of DG Norm on Ocotober 17 and 18. Please visit www.rotary7080.org for details and registration.

Friday includes a fellowship night at the Rose. Tickets are available at a discount for  Pirates of Penzance Friday evening.  Special rates are also available from downtown restaurants on the Friday night. The club has agreed to a $50 rebate when a club member registers and an additional $25 for their spouses.
 
This conference is a significant event in Norm's year and members are encouraged to attend to support Norm, our club and our city as host. If you can help as a volunteer contact Frances Laming Vancer.

Club Visioning

PP Steve re-introduced the club's visioning  process - explaining that this has been ongoing for two years and is now close to completion.  The next step is to consult the club membership on resource allocation. Steve will develop a survey and it's important that all members respond. Steve said the Board requires member feedback to help it make determinations around where it spends money. Stay tuned.
