Blade-a-thon a smash

The 6th Annual Blade-a-thon at Gage Park on Sunday was a smash hit. Committee chairman Rob van Kessel expects that we have exceeded last year's contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Rob paid tribute to the CAW for helping out this year; Tom and his band Bad Weather, The Brampton Battalion hockey club as well as Peel Regional Police and Police Chief Noel Catney and the workers for the Canadian Cancer Society.
He also thanked his committee and all Rotarians who came to help out for the day.

The CAW donated the big bounce truck for kids and raised $150 on the day.
