Ahead of their class

Three members delivered a classification talk last week, including Past President Peter Ward, who apparently has been re-classified. The others were Tony Gale and Don Weaver.
Tony Gale
Tony has been a long time resident of the Brampton area, with his first home being in the A section of Bramalea. His career with Canada Trust took him to Mississauga, several branches in the Toronto area, and the pensions department until he was given the opportunity to open the branch at Hwy 10 and Wanless. He is currently at the Queen & Main branch and is happy to be able to be more involved in the Brampton community.
Tony has a 20 year old daughter who is off to her first year of University in Ottawa and a 14 year old son who will be starting his first year of high school. His son was an Easter seal ambassador about 5 years ago, is a member of cruiser sports for the physically disabled and has a goal to make the 2014 Olympics. Tony himself is a volunteer coach for the sledge hockey team and is President of Cruisers Sports for the Physically Disabled.
Peter Ward
Peter's reclassification talk allowed him to reintroduce himself to the group as a consultant from his former classification of banker. One area he can help in is with succession planning. He can help a client determine what they want out of succession planning before they go to the expensive but very valuable lawyers and accountants. Peter is also now involved in Rotary as the club Secretary.
Don Weaver
Don received his electrical engineering degree from McMaster and his MBA from York University. He has been involved in designing electrical equipment and has also tried marketing and plant management. In the past he has travelled extensively and worked on contract in various manufacturing businesses. He is now trying to work more locally and is currently doing some interim work with the consulting outfit, the Osborne Group. His current work assignment is at a small machine shop in Woodbridge that does precision machining for landing gear.
Don has been married for 35 years and has lived in Mississauga for approximately 20 years. His wife is an accountant and they both enjoy playing tennis and bridge. They have 2 kids, Sarah who works for the W Network and Don Jr. who is also an electrical engineer and is going to do his MBA in France.
