MEDICAL KITS TO UGANDA
On behalf of the members of the Rotary Club of Brampton, the International Service Committee forwarded $400 to FullSoul – an organization which is providing 4 medical kits to two hospitals in Uganda.  The medical kits help practitioners, such as midwives, more safely and effectively protect the health and safety of mothers and their babies, and deliver their babies in a hospital rather than at home.  Each kit contains key medical instruments that can be sterilized and reused multiple times per day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year – and for many years.  This means that the kits has the potential to contribute to safer delivery  for thousands of babies.  FullSoul founders, Christina Marchand (former exchange student/RYLArian/Rotaracter) and Hyder Hassan (Rotarian, former Rotaracter) are now delivering the kits in Uganda over the Christmas holiday.   For more information go to www.fullsoul.ca
