$15,000 to support Bingo
Our club passed a motion to spend $15,000 to support Rutherford Bingo, moved by Jim Inglis and seconded by Bob McIntyre.
1. That the Rotary Board approves the investigation, research and design of a V.I.P. program and lounge to attract and retain the most regular and serious Bingo players and that a budget of $5000 be provided to Rutherford Bingo for this purpose.
2. That the Rotary Board approves a promotional campaign aimed at notifying and attracting members of the charity groups who benefit directly from Rutherford Bingo to become interim players. That the Board approves a budget, not to exceed $5000 to be provided to Rutherford Bingo for this purpose.
3. That the Rotary Club approves the incidental repairs and improvements identified in this report at a cost not to exceed $5,000, to be provided to Rutherford Bingo for this purpose.
The motion was carried unanimously.
