$12,000 approved

The club approved a motion last week to spend $12,000 as our contribution to the Easter Seals Telethon, held last month. Overall we have contributed $42,000 to Easter Seals this year - the aforementioned $12,000 plus $30,000, which is used to send local kids to camp.
