Youth committee activities for October-December 2023 quarter
We are sponsoring the attendance of a young person from our local community at a forthcoming Rotary youth leadership and personal development camp.
We are also providing a scholarship named in honour of a past club member to assist selected students at a local specialist school.
Financial support has been provided to a local student to attend the UN Australia Aotearoa Leadership Tour of New Zealand.
Planning is underway for the 20024 WYNSPEAK public speaking competition. The competition is for students in years 10 to 12 from schools in Wyndham and the surrounding region. About 40 schools are expected to participate in the 2024 competition.
